The Lion Within Us - Leadership for Christian Men
Christian men are in a battle for their lives. Satan will do everything possible to destroy them. The Lion Within Us is a community that provides encouragement to become the leaders God intends us to be. Our main focus lies within three categories: Health (Mental/Physical), Wealth (Careers/Finances) and Self (Husbands/Fathers/Brothers in Christ). By sharpening these areas of our lives, we can find the strength needed to stand firm in our faith and unleash the Lion Within.

Something is off in the West, and you can feel it: the vulnerable get sacrificed, the powerful get protected, and too many churches respond with silence. We sit down with Seth Gruber, president of White Rose Resistance and creator behind The Last Stand: Christ or Chaos and The 1916 Project, to name what many Christian men sense but struggle to articulate. Seth argues the culture war is not mainly about personalities or parties, but about a deeper spiritual conflict against Christ and the Christian foundation that gave the West its moral vocabulary: sanctity of life, human dignity, rule of law, and protection for the weak.

Now, the stuff he's going to talk about here, uh, quite frankly, if you if you have younger listeners with you, you may want to listen to this one without them to start with, just so you can understand context and then listen to it with them later on, okay? Because he uh he exposes the chilling realities of the culture of death that we're living here with here in America. And he's urging the church to do something, but he's also taking a stand to show with us what are the steps that we need to take. I'm telling you, so he's an incredible guy. I love him to death. He he's moving to Tennessee. He's in Kansas right now, I believe, but he's he's moving to Tennessee, so he'll come be closer to me. We're gonna try to get together at some point for sure. But for you pastors out there that are listening to the to the line within us, if you have not reached out to have Seth, listeners, preach at your church or to show the 1916 project or to show the last stand to your congregation, you are missing a massive opportunity. A massive opportunity. These are great, these are are really well put together. They're phenomenal productions, and I can't advocate for them more. So if you need help or you need support on how to get connected with Seth, I want to encourage you to reach out to me. Okay, send an email to support at thelionwithin.us. I'll get those emails forwarded to me. I'll be glad to connect you with Seth and his team and get you set up so you can bring this into your church. So enjoy this conversation with my brother, Seth Gruber. Listeners.
Christendom And The Real War
Chris GraingerSeth, welcome back to the lion within us, man.
Seth GruberHow are you doing today? Good, bro. Thanks, Chris. Good to be back on your amazing podcast. I love the lion theme, man. I go with that theme too. I love it.
Chris GraingerWell, I know when I got the copy of the book, I'm like, all right, this is gonna be a good one. I bet you liked that, yeah. I did. I wasn't crazy about the arrows in the lion, but I get why they're there. But uh that's cool, right?
Seth GruberSo um, because the culture war is just a proxy war for a far deeper spiritual war, just like the war against Western civilization is a proxy war against Christendom, meaning Christ Himself, meaning the lion of the tribe of Judah. Uh meaning you don't even have concepts like the rule of law, the sanctity of life, uh, individualism, human dignity, uh, moral truths, the value and protection of the little guy, the disenfranchised, the marginalized, the weak, the voiceless children, all of those things that the left likes to own, as if, like, oh yeah, they're the Democrat Party. Remember, Chris, they're the party of the little guy. You want a bunch of horse manure. Those concepts of loving the poor, caring for the disenfranchised, protecting the marginalized, passing legislation to safeguard children or those who are in the target of the sexual perverts, all of that is the fruit of Christianity. Uh, and so all of these attacks we're dealing with in the culture war that most pastors and Christians don't want to deal with because they say, I'm not poletic all. It's like, yeah, go read another Andy Stanley book, dude. Um, those are actually proxy war attacks against the lion of the tribe of Judah. Uh, and so that's why we went with the the arrows in like a charging lion uh who cannot be stopped.
Chris GraingerBut, anyways, I absolutely love it. I love it, and I mean it looks like so 1916 came out, and then you know, that project's behind you, and then it looks like God laid this one on your heart. Did you have any downtime, bro, between two projects? Right, not really. Here's my line in the back, by the way.
Seth GruberWe each got a lion in our studio for your uh video watchers. But um, yeah, I mean, you can still find screenings of the 1916 project all around the country if for people they go and go to the 1916project.com. They can host a screening of this in their church. We let like any church or school in America host a screening of the films that we make for free, but we for like a you know several months, that's the only way to see it. So now 1916 project streaming on Daily Wire Plus, and you can buy DVDs. Uh, but like you can bring this to your Christian students, you can bring this to your congregants, Pastor, uh youth pastor. And uh so that that's still happening all around the country, bro. It's been incredible. And then um I kind of jumped right into this next film and booked the last stand uh right after right before 1916 hit Daily Wire Plus. So we I already had a vision for it. Um it took some time because it's expensive to fundraise for films, and I filmed in Rome, Paris, and London um internationally, but cinematically it's very beautiful. And then the book is called The Last Day in Christ or Chaos, The War for the West. And a lot of my friends are writing and publishing books right now because it's the 250th birthday of America. So, like Metaxis, my dear friend Eric Metaxis, you came out with a great book called Revolution on a lot of just the untold and forgotten stories of the American War for Independence. There's a lot of great books you can get right now. Um, I think mine is unique, not better, just different. Uh, and it's looking at the glorious heritage of Christian resistance against all the same evils that we're facing today, and telling the stories of Christian warriors and heroes who laid the foundation for renewal and reformation in our day. None of what we're dealing with is new, Chris. Um, the only thing that's relatively new is the silence and cowardice of the blood bot bright of Christ. Amen. That brother. Amen.
Chris GraingerAnd I didn't I did see the 1916, you made it on Daily Wire. How'd that connection come down? Because obviously they're doing great stuff. We stand behind what they're doing. Matt Walsh is my daily go-to to get my morning story right.
Seth GruberYeah, Matt's incredible. Yeah, he's incredible. And uh, I mean, before this new documentary on Melania, uh, it was Matt's documentary uh in my racist that was the largest successful box office documentary release um ever, which is pretty cool. So I'm friends with some of those guys. I'm friends with Michael and um been on some of the shows. Right. So we just struck up a conversation. They absolutely loved the film, and uh it was yeah, it just kind of fell together.
Chris GraingerSo it looked like I saw from the trailer that Michael was on your this film.
Seth GruberYeah, yeah, yeah. Michael uh Knowles agreed to be a part of the Last Stand film, um, which was super fun. So we've got quite the banger lineup between Michael Knowles, Calvin Robinson, Pastor Jack Hibbs, Pastor Alan Jackson, Ali Beth Stuckey, Katie Faust, Lucas Miles, um, and we de Dr. George Grant. I mean, he's he helped screenwrite the whole project with me. Um, and then um we dedicated the entire film and book, The Last Stand, to Charlie Kirk, who gave the seed money to me to launch the White Rose Resistance and was scheduled to speak at the Last Stand festival that we just had, where we premiered the film um on June 6th. So yeah, wow. Incredible.
Chris GraingerI'm very curious from the going back speaking to the Genesis. What is the Genesis? What was the the call from God on your heart to take on a tackle project like this?
Seth GruberUh yeah. So, I mean, after the 1916 project, you know, the number one response, we had over a thousand churches host screenings of the film, Chris. Um, and that was uh that launched when the ministry was only two years old. And um, and it just the Lord just breathed on it. And when the minister, next thing you know, I mean, churches all around the country and the world screening this film. Um, and the number one response we got, we got a lot of audience data and a lot of feedback. And the number one response was um, I've never heard any of this before. What the heck? I mean, that was the number one response. It's like the founding board member of Planned Parenthood was the exalted Cyclops of the Massachusetts KKK chapter, and he's the only American who had a one-on-one meeting with Adolf Hiller after he rose to power. What the heck? You know, it's like the the Mark Margaret Singer's medical director started the sex ed organization at the Kinsey Institute, Indian University, with a board member who was part of the pro-pedophile movement, and that's the origins of the the weird sex ed in the schools today. Like, so there's just so much that we just don't know. And and that was just looking at really 20th century wickedness, yeah, contrasted with this group of Christian heroes in Nazi Germany called the White Rose Resistance, which is where we got the name for my ministry. And so just hearing so many conservative believers, like bold churches, Chris, like pastors who are bold. Um, and then so these are what I'm saying is it's like it's not I'm this isn't Andy Stanley or Stephen Furtick's church. I mean, like these are actually bold men, bold pastors, and their people are like, I've never heard any of this before. And so I I just realized something that really the patristics and the Christian warriors before us, Chris, knew full well, which is that the forgetfulness of the church, as Schaefer said, is far more dangerous to a society than the decadence of the world. When the um Psalm 88, 12 says, righteousness cannot be done in a land of forgetfulness. Um, Hosea 4, 6 says, My people are being destroyed for lack of knowledge. You could say that remembrance and forgetfulness are the measuring rods of faithfulness throughout the Bible, revealing that there's only two kinds of people in this world, effectual doers and forgetful hearers. Okay. Um, Chesterton's best friend, Eler Belloch, said, It's not the barbarian at the city gates that worries me. It is the traitors within. Those who forget their faith, who scoff at their history, and who welcome the enemies of Christ with open arms, these will be the ones who bring down Christendom brick by brick. Um, the reality is, Chris, is that there's nothing new about wanting to murder babies. That's like that's like super old, bro. Like, there's not a society or civilization in the history of our recorded species that did not exercise like human or child sacrifice in some way, shape, or form. Like there's nothing new about that, dude. There's nothing new about saying, hey, you know what? We should have sex with kids. Okay. That like that's all the way back to ancient Roman Empire, dude. They had in during the French Revolution in the Palais Royal with this guy named Maximilian Robespierre and the Jacobins, they had brothels full of children above the Parisian cafes. Okay. Like the dude, there's nothing new about this. There's nothing new about wanting to sexually mutilate kids for your own demonic pedophilic excitement. Like the babies that were abandoned in ancient Rome, Chris, because that was legal, by the way, and normal. If you just didn't want a baby, you just go leave it on a wall, dude. You just go leave it there. Um, and a lot of these foundlings who were not rescued by Christians ended up being rescued, but it wasn't a rescue by pimps who would raise that abandoned infant in a brothel to be a sex slave. And it was very common and normal to castrate infants to make them more sexually enticing to perverted pedophiles who would pay for those services in ancient Rome. Nothing new about being all excited about like projecting a sexual identity onto kids. Like, look at the 21st century. All across the West, we're being told by our liberal establishment betters that we need to call pedophiles minor attracted persons. Okay.
Big Fertility And Buying Babies
Seth GruberIt's legal to buy and sell babies right now, Chris, in the West. This might be one of the most shocking and important things I say on your show today. It is legal to buy and sell humans, babies in the land of the free, in the home of the brave, and across the West. And people are gonna go, Chris, get this guy off your show. That's ridiculous. Well, I didn't see that. That would be national headlines. I'm talking talking about big fertility and its insidious companion in vitro fertilization. Yes. You do not have to go through an adoption process, through an adoption screening, through a home study, or through a psychological background check. You do not have to do that as long as the contract to purchase a human baby is signed before conception, Chris. And if you believe that, you're retarded. Okay. So single adult males who would two gay dudes. If your audience hasn't seen these stories, okay, and headlines across the West right now, they're not paying attention. I'm not trying to like insult your listener base, like you're a stud. They probably do know about this because they listen to the line within. But these are headlines are everywhere if you if you're paying attention. You can just go buy a woman's egg, her gambies, you can do your thing as one of the gay sodomite partners. You can pay a lab to create a baby through IBF. Then you go pay a poor surrogate, because by the way, most surrogates are doing it for the cash, Chris. And let me say something on your show, actually. Black and brown womb are way cheaper than white womb in the West. Okay, just so we understand that. So now you got a weird racial element. Who would and most of the rich sodomite gay dudes are white. So you have rich, gay, white homosexuals paying poor minority women to rent their wombs. And then she gestates the baby. And what are you paying her for? You're paying the birth mother to stay out of the child's life, just like you paid the biological mother who sold her gametes to stay out of her child's life. And then two gay dudes go home with a baby. Now, now, Chris, if my my wife and I want to adopt, okay? What do we have to do? Background checks, home studies, psychological studies, and it's super expensive. So the only check that has to clear in the world of big fertility is the check you right to the bank. Who would so would now we're seeing stories? Oh, two gay dudes adopted a baby and raped it to death? And we're like, wait, how did that happen? I thought that the adoption process, Chris, I'm I'm not an expert in adoption, okay, Chris, but I'm pretty sure the adoption movement and agencies exist to protect and safeguard the lives and rights of the child, not the desires and interests of adults. But now that's been flipped. It is legal to buy babies, dude. You can buy human babies, you can purchase them. Now we we fought a civil war to end the practice of buying and selling people, and now we brought it back in the name of progress. That was also happening in ancient Rome. Okay. In ancient Rome, uh, in some of its final days, drag queen story hour and performances left the theater stage and they decided that the theater stage wasn't enough. They wanted to do that in the public square. We could go down the line, bro. There's not a single major civilizational issue facing the West right now that are Christian heroes who did not have to deal with. They dealt with all the same unfoldings and manifestations of evil that we can't get most pastors to preach against today, much less mobilize their congregations to be a threat against evil. Whoa, no, that's I mean, now we work with some warrior partner churches. There are bold, bold pastors and churches in America, Chris. We were talking about some of them before, like Joby Martin and Pastor Jack Hibbs and Pastor Rob McCoy and Pastor George Grant and um Pastor Jeff Schwartzentrob in Denver at Brave Church. And there's some bold men in churches and pastors in this country, but they're not the norm, and we all know that. Right. Yet we're dealing with issues that our Christian heroes, our Christian forefathers, and the great family of faith and the cloud of witnesses, brother, they took they took it as the norm to deal with that. They didn't think they were being political, they thought they were being Christian, bro. And so let me let me put it this way the first 1900 years of church history who would stands as an indictment against the last 100. Who would that those evils are not new? What's what's relatively new, and what I mean is like somewhere in the 20th century, uh it is the forgetfulness, silence, and cowardice of the blood-bought bride of Christ, who has forgotten who she is, who has forgotten that she that there was a declaration of war from the first chapters of the Bible, Chris. Remember? I will set enmity between you who serpent and her, Eve, and between your offspring and her offspring. So, okay, so that's a verbatim Bible verse from Genesis 3. Chris, when when the Bible says between your offspring, who's your who's he talking about? Who would who would Satan? Yeah, exactly. So the opening just chapters of the Bible, dear friends, listen to me. The opening chapters of the Bible says that Satan has children. That he has offspring. And and that from that point, there will be a freaking war who would between Satan's family and children, and between the offspring of the woman, which would be what? The seed of the woman, babies, the next generation. Why? Because eventually in that lineage, there's coming a savior. Who would but he's coming as a baby? He's coming as a fetus, the Latin word for offspring or small child. He's not coming with a uh a sword coming out of his mouth yet. Yes. He's coming as a baby, not just to deliver us from sin, but to declare war against sin itself, which is why when when that fetus grows up and starts his ministry, he takes his disciples, Chris, to Caesarea Philippi. Who would the the ancient Rome's version of Sodom and Gomorrah? Chris. Uh it was in Caesarea Philippi at the uh the base of Mount Her Hermon, uh, super northern Israel, super far. And he takes his disciples way up to Caesarea Philippi, which from for centuries, bro, had been the place of pagan idolatry and worship. I mean, dude, they were doing orders and sacrificing infants, bro. Okay, who would and they believe the residents in that area, okay. Uh this is all in my book, The Last Day in Christ or Chaos, The War for the West. Uh, you guys can get it from the White Rose Resistance store. You can get it from Amazon, but give your money to a Christian ministry, not to gay Amazon. Um, so uh you're listening to take my word for it. I'm a history nerd, but it's all in the book. The residents in Cesarea Philippi believed that uh these fertility gods came there in the winter. And so they would go there to do sacrifices to them and worship them. And there's a big cave there. Now, some pastors have been there, right? Pastors will take some of their churches to Israel, right, and walk where Jesus walked. And so some some of your pastor friends listening will know they'll they'll know exactly what I'm talking about because they've stood there and preached there. And there's a cave there, it's an entrance to a cave. And the residents of that area at that time, when Jesus takes his disciples there, Chris, they believed it what's this? They believed it was a literal entrance to hell. Who would they thought that that the cave there where they would worship demon gods was a way to get into Sheol, the underworld. Who would that's that's the backdrop. So when Jesus takes his disciples to Caesarea Philippi, and he asks them a question about his identity, Chris, right? And by extension, their identity, right? Because they're sons of the king. And he says, Who do you say that I am? And what you remember, they will some say Elijah, right? Some say John the Baptist, uh, what's the other one? Jeremiah, some say Jeremiah. And he says, Yeah, but I don't care about that. Who do you say I am? Right. And and Simon Peter says, You choose you're the Messiah, the son of the living God. Who would Jesus says, Blessed are you, Simon, son of Jonah? For flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but my father in heaven, and you are Peter. And on this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell who would not prevail against it. Who would who would so do we read that and we just think, Oh, that's cute, right? Um, that that you know, that that you know, there's a demonic realm and there's a spiritual realm, and we have to learn to fight on our knees, and we just take that as kind of like a spiritual warfare thing of like we should pray. No, he took them to the centerplace of pagan idolatry, where all manner of baby killing and sex cult gay worship was legalized, normal, expected, and worshipped. And in the centerpiece of pagan idolatry, he doesn't say be obedient to the governing authorities and always do whatever they say because your kingdom is not of this world. He takes them to what everyone thought was a way to get into hell itself. They thought it was the gates of hell. And he stands at the gates of hell and he says, You are Peter, you are my church, you guys are my church. And the gates of hell. And they're thinking, oh my gosh, he's literally standing at the gates of hell will not prevail against the goodness that is my church. But but gates are stationary, bro. They don't move. He's saying these stationary gates of hell that just stand there are going to be freaking torn down and stormed by the progressively moving momentum forward forwardness of the goodness that is my church. In other words, he was setting his disciples up for global assault against the minions of darkness. And we have forgotten that, Chris. So I I don't even remember what question of yours I was answering, but basically, we like Simba in the Lion King, we need to remember who we are before we can save our life.
Chris GraingerExactly. And it makes me wonder, too, like, what do you think is more dangerous, that a culture that just blatantly hates God, which we can find that anywhere we look, or a culture that forgets him. And this is and this is what's bothering me. And I'd love to just to get your your take on that. Who would well?
Seth GruberThat's that's amen. I mean, you hit the nail on the head. That's exactly what um I was uh attempting to extrapolate is that the ignorance of the church is way more dangerous than drag queens and baby killing weirdos. Like because the church has always faced these various evils. And they always they always have a rebirth. There's always a rebirth of the same old foes, the same old ancient foes. And why is that? It's because human nature hasn't changed, Chris. Like we're super wicked. Like, you know what humans do without God? They murder babies and call it healthcare. You know, you know what, you know what men and women do without God? Um, they create child porn. Um, and then they create a industry that cre that nets more wealth every 12 months than the NBA, the MLB, uh, and uh wait, NBA, MLB, and uh MBL, Major League Baseball, NBA, and NFL, uh, that they net together in a year. The porn industry creates more wealth every year than the three major American sports leagues do together combined. Right. Right. And increasingly, when you look at some of the Barner research and some of this research from group like my groups like uh my friend Joshua Broom is involved in, um, increasingly the the searches for porn are increasingly younger. Uh-huh. Uh, I think barely legal is one of the most commonly searched phrases in the pornography world. And the pornography industry is geared intentionally at minors, which is why when in Texas a year and a half ago, when one of my buddies drafted a bill that ended up getting signed into law that banned Pornhub from Texas, um, well, sorry, it required you to use your license to verify your age. You couldn't just say, you know what, like when you go like uh like if I go buy bourbon or cigars, you know, the website says, Are you 21? Yeah. You just press yes. It wasn't that. It wasn't just saying yes. You had to prove that you were over 18 or 18 or older. And uh rather than uh implement that um requirement, porn have just pulled their business out of Texas. So what are they admitting? They're admitting their entire business um uh construct and strategy is geared at minors. Yes. Who would so that's not new either, dude. There's nothing new about that, about wanting to sexualize kids. To be a young um male, in particular, a young male minor in ancient Rome, basically just came along with the guarantee of being raped by older men. It was just kind of like part of the package deal, dude. Uh, the church fathers wrote widely about this. So human nature hasn't changed. Like, we are wicked, wicked, wicked, evil people. Okay, the only thing historically, since Christ instituted his church, Chris, that's been able to stop some of that stuff. Like, I don't know, like, hey, maybe we should pass a law like ending slavery. Like, maybe you shouldn't wait, maybe you shouldn't be able to own a man and beat him like a man owns a horse. Right. You know who we can thank for that? Yeah, that would be Christians. I I know this might be shocking to the liberal, agnostic, 21st century modernity mindset, but it was not the followers of Jean-Jacques Rousseau and Voltaire, who were part of abolitionist campaigns to legally restore dignity and rights to slaves. That was Christians. It wasn't uh the followers of Mary Wollstonecraft and Lord Byron, who would Percy Shelley, who were passing laws to end sexual exploitation. Who would Percy Shelley and Lord Byron in particular, right? Some of the most celebrated poets, right, of the modern era. Um, they were they're like forcing their lovers to have abortions. Like Percy Shelley was having sexual intercourse with his sister-in-law, okay? Like who banned sexual exploitation? Yeah, that would be Christians. Okay. We could go down the line, Chris. Any any justice issue we take for granted today, it was because of the Christian church. And they didn't just get engaged culturally, like, hey, let's preach powerful sermons in the public square. Amen to that. But they didn't stop there. They got involved legislatively to say this is not right. We're going to use politics and the law which God instituted and which He defines in Romans, by the way, that the law would uh, the politicians, the rulers, they're actually their job description from heaven is to be a terror to evil and who will reward those who do good. And Christian said, we're gonna do that for righteousness. And so I agree with you 100%, Chris. The forgetfulness and ignorance of the church is way more dangerous for our society than drag queens, cultural Marxists, play in parenthood, and the World Economic Forum. Because historically, the only people who have been able to hold those kinds of agendas at bay and even more reverse them has been the local church. And so at the White Rose Resistance, what we're doing, brother, with this film, with our resistance chapters all around the country is to disciple, inspire, motivate, and equip the body of Christ to reclaim their spiritual mantle and heritage historically of Christian resistance against evil. And that should manifest in how you raise your kids, that should manifest in how you preach, that should manifest in how you engage your community, that should manifest in how you vote. Um, but by and large, the church in America just loves their live stream sermons, their great worship music, and their comfortable, fun Bible study groups. But the world is going to hell in a handbasket, and we don't have much time left. And so in the in the rest of this, I'll tell you a little bit later as a why we are calling it the last stand and and why I don't think that's hyperbolic. I think we really are in a last stand moment for the West as we know it.
Chris Grainger100%. I mean, I even heard a thing this like recently, this week said, and you probably heard about
Grooming Gangs And Cultural Importation
Chris Graingerit too. In the UK, 250,000 women.
Seth GruberWell, yeah, are you reading through the rape gang report?
Chris GraingerWho would yeah, exactly? And it's just like it's evil. I know it's complete evil, but also recognize it's gonna be a microcosm of pastors that are gonna touch on this topic with the congregation and and why? I mean, we have to start exposing truth like this, and from a Christian worldview, it's not gonna fix itself until a strong Christian man steps in and does something about this, and versus just bearing our heads and just saying, because it's it's coming here, it's already in the US. We're just we're just you know turning a blind eye to it. We're and we're trying not to ruffle feathers.
Seth GruberYeah, no, that's right, brother. Um 250,000 British girls, I think is the number um since the 1940s that have been and uh and a large part of that in recent years that have been raped, sodomized, trafficked, did uh who would physically uh abused, um, and why? Uh because men who were who would be assigned as rulers, men who were assigned as politicians and lawmakers, um sheriffs who did nothing to protect, and pastors who have been silent about this and because of widespread widespread immigration, which most people don't want to talk about. Um, but of course that connects to everything else. Of course it does, Chris. Like it's interesting because I lead I lead a pro-life organization, right? I lead a pro-life ministry, and we're a Christian pro-life organization. Uh, we make no qualms about that. We're unapologetically Christian. You have to sign a statement of faith to work for me um at the White Rose Resistance. Good for you. And uh yeah, so we hire and fire based off of that statement of faith, which doesn't just say I believe in Jesus. It has, it's it's quite it's quite a long statement of faith and adherence to the to the Christian creeds. Um but our our main focus is is ending abortion, it's protecting the pre-born. Uh, but of course, we'll crush drag queen story hours, like, you know, and and a lot of what I've done is exposing really the entire sexual revolution and how it's connected to everything else. But a lot of people um find it strange that I I'll talk about all of these other issues that aren't mainly abortion, because most pro-life organizations just talk about abortion. They're like, well, it's a pro-life organization, we're trying to end abortion, so we're only going to talk about abortion. Um, I always thought that that was silly and short-sighted, Chris, because you can't understand abortion. Um, the like the like the fact that like we have a society that over 50% of the populace, uh, at least according to most polls, it's usually about 50-50. It's probably, you know, maybe a little more now, think that a mother should have the right to have her child slaughtered, ripped body, limbs just ripped apart in utero, and that's healthcare, reproductive justice. Uh, and it's and it's necessary for women to have full equality with men. Um, okay, that like the fact that that's a mindset in our in our culture and in our country, that it was codified in Roe vs. Wade. Of course, it got overturned in 20, uh, 2022, but it was codified in a Supreme Court decision in 1973, about 200 years after the American Republic started. I mean, think about that, Chris. Like a Christian nation founded by Protestant Christian pastors, okay? Like that's the heritage, that's why America is America. That's why King George blamed the black robe regiment, black robes, the clerical preaching robes, the black robe regiment for why he lost the American War for Independence. What was he talking about? He's talking about the Protestant preaching pastors in the New England colonies. So you think about that, like, wow, a Christian nation where 12 out of the 13 colonies had Christian litmus tests before you could run for office. And the left talks about Christian nationalism, Chris. Christian nationalism is the great threat to our republic. It was Christian nationalism that built this country, you idiots. Okay. Like you had to prove your local membership at a Protestant church before you could appear on the ballot to run for public office. Okay. Like, that's Christian nationalism, Chris, by the way. But anyways, um, and so you're like, wow, and in about 200 years after we were founded, we codified baby killing through point of birth as a federal right in all 50 states. And so you're like, okay, how did that happen? Like, can we under can we fully understand that and dissect that and unfold that worldview and how that compounded and how that was foisted on the most powerful child of the Reformation, the United States of America? Can you deal with that on its own terms? Of course you can't. Of course you can't just deal with abortion on its on its own terms. It comes pre-packaged with all manner of paganism. Okay, you don't have abortion unless you have a society and a culture, or you don't have abortion normalized and celebrated and codified like it is, unless you have a culture in society that wants orgasms without responsibility. Right. I'm pregnant. Screw this. Uh you have this baby killed. Well, why? What because you wanted orgasms, but you didn't want responsibility. You didn't want the baby. You're selfish. Okay. Right. You wanted to sleep around or sleep with your boyfriend, and you did not want the responsibilities that historically have always come along with S-E-X. So I guess to fully understand abortion, Chris, we kind of have to deal with the sexual revolution, don't we? Right. Kind of have to deal with sexual liberation theology and the cult liberation feminists who insisted upon bra burning. Right. Right. The National Organization for Women Gatherings in Greenwich Village in the 60s, which is interesting. Same village that Margaret Sanger came out of, Chris. Same village that the Stonewall movement, the radical homosexuality agenda, gets launched out of at the Stonewall Bar. Um, and the same neighborhood where Kate Millett launches out of. Kate Millett, the founder of Now, the National Organization for Women. Just coincidence, so that's all from that. I mean, what I know. Doesn't Greenwich Village need like an exorcism? It's where the show Friends is based as well. But Greenwich Village gave us Sanger, it gave us the second wave feminist movement, and it gave us the homosexuality movement. Bro, all three. Sodomy, Sanger, and I was trying to be fun and think of another S, but and the ugly, the ugly feminist, the second wave feminist, right? Which most of them are ugly, but anyways, uh, you can that's a funny conversation for another time. But so all from one village. Right. Right? Uh so can we really understand like abortion without understanding sexual liberation? No, of course you can't. Okay. So like I think one of the things people appreciate about uh the White Rose Resistance is we we don't deal in like silos. Um, we don't deal in bits and pieces, like Schaefer said. We try to deal in totals and actually understanding how these things coalesce, how they're connected. Well, one of those pieces is what you just raised. Right. This this rape gang report from the UK. Part of that puzzle is immigration. We are importing, and we, I mean, think of how many people under the Biden Harris administration, Chris, importing hundreds of thousands of foreign nationals, of illegal aliens, onto American soil. And then the Dems want to argue to give them widespread amnesty, make them citizens. In many states, they've passed laws where non-citizens can vote in our elections, right? Like, dude, in the early years of this republic, Chris, you couldn't vote unless you owned land. Yeah. Because you had to have a vested interest in the future. Right. Like, like, why are we going to let people vote if they're fat video game porn addicted basement dwellers at their parents' house? Like you have no vested interest in the future. So you used to have to be a landowner, not just a citizen of America. And now we've like completely flipped. It's like you could be a foreign national who's not even a citizen here and couldn't even tell you what the amendments are in the constitution. Here, you want to vote? You want to vote for James Talarico? Like, what the heck? So, of course, when we shift the entire voting block of America, and we know, everyone knows, that foreign nationals who come here, with the exception of Cuba, actually, which is super interesting. And that was the only country that Obama banned travel from, which is like fascinating, Chris. You remember, you remember Trump's uh, they called him the Muslim ban? You remember that? Oh my gosh, Trump's a xenophobic racist. And he like temporarily banned immigration or travel from uh countries that were known to be hotbeds for Muslim radical terrorism. No one, no one freaked out when Obama did the same thing. Under Obama, towards the end of his administration, he banned travel even for people seeking asylum from Cuba. And why is that? Right because they all go to Florida and vote Republican, because they're fleeing like radical socialism in Cuba. And when they get to Florida, they all register as Republicans. So the only nation that Obama ever banned travel from is from the people who would oppose a threat to his political party. Anyways, I digress. But if we give all those people suddenly the ability to vote, we know they all vote for Democrats because that's the party arguing to give them rights to vote, to give them rights to move here illegally. Right. And so what would that do to the legislative attempts of the pro-life movement, Chris? Think about that. Right. We'd be screwed. Right. Because foreign nationals who come here almost exclusively for one, two, or three generations vote for Democrats. Right. Right. It's usually their grandchildren or their great-grandchildren who then start to become conservative. So if we allow that in this nation, like the UK has done, and and and all these Muslims, over a few decades, they've raped and abused 250,000 white British girls. Okay. Yeah. Why was that? Was that because we weren't diverse and equitable enough? No, it's because we were importing foreign cultures with very different value systems into British soil. And that came at great cost. And it will hear too if we don't prioritize things. So I actually think that the Muslim Islamic threat to the West is this interesting canary in a coal mine. Canary in a coal mine, right? Like for your listeners who don't know that analogy, it's like uh these canaries when people, when men used to work in coal mines, uh if a if a canary was way in the coal mine, they they somehow would know before there was going to be like a collapse in the mine. Uh and so it became this analogy of like it's a it's an early warning sign is kind of what it means. Yeah. And so I think the Islamic threat is like a canary in the coal mine for the death of the West and the replacement of Western civilization with radical Islam jihadists. And so let me let me explain like why uh this project we're doing, The Last Stand, is so significant, and why nations that murder babies and celebrate weird sexual liberation freedom um is the death of a society. Because I don't think this is uh hyper hyperbole. I don't think I'm overstating my case. I just think most of us, including myself until I started studying this stuff, Chris. I think most of us are just dumb. I think most Americans are dumb. Uh, and I think I was dumb 10 years ago until I was like, oh my gosh, I need to start understanding ideas better. You know? Right. Um, and I think we need to be humble enough to say most of us are dumb. Right. We we we are not the men that our great-grandfathers were. Like our that are our the men who built the West were far better men than us. Okay. And we actually have to start studying some of these things and finding that blueprint that's been handed down to us by the Christian heroes of the past, if we're going to be faithful in these days to the Lord and to safeguarding babies
The Sex And Culture Civilization Pattern
Seth Gruberand families. And so there's this interesting book written by J.D. Unwen. He's an Oxford anthropologist and ethnologist in 1934 called Sex and Culture. I have it over there on the floor, but I won't walk away from the mic. And it's a big fat book. Sex and Culture, J D Unwen, U N W I N. So 92 years ago he published this. Is that right? Uh 1934? And it's 2026. Yeah. Yeah. And um he looked at, wait for this, your listener's gonna flip out. Okay, there's never been a study done quite like this. He looked at 86 civilizations over 5,000 years of recorded human history. Right. 86 civilizations, different ones, over five thousand years. Right. Now, just to make sure you guys understand how significant that is, most Christians believe the earth is only around 6,000-ish years old. Of course, there's old earth, there are old earth creationists. Right. Maybe when God said on day one he made this and on day two he made this, maybe he didn't mean a day, really. Maybe he maybe, you know, whatever, and people debate about what a day was back then. I think it's silly, but but anyways, most Christians are young earth creationists, and most Christians think the world is 6,500 years old or or less in the 6,000 range. So JD Henman looks at 5,000 years of human history and ranked civilizations and asked the question what causes civilizations to rise and thrive? Like what produces strong civilizations with a lot of cultural energy? Right. And then in the inverse, what causes civilizations to decline and fall? Right. Fall apart, be replaced, go the way the dodo bird. Okay. Um, and so he here's what he finds. And he there was not one exception to this rule. That that's what makes his findings such an indictment on the West and such a reproach on secular liberalism and all the false promises of the sexual revolution. He found a 100% correlation between the coupling of what he called prenuptial chastity with absolute monogamy and cultural advancement, cultural energy, cultural prowess. Right. And so uh fancy words to mean don't have sex before you get married and only have sex with your spouse after you get married and have babies. It sounds a lot like, I don't know, the opening uh pages of the Bible. Um, and he said, these civilizations that maintained that coupling of prenuptial chastity with absolute monogamy for long periods of time, um, created the strongest, most flowering, fruitful, energetic societies in human history. And he said, these these civilizations and and how are we how is this defined again, Chris? Sexual restraint and monogamy gave us the best art. Right, food, like culinary, the best food, the best kitchen items, uh, the best architecture, the best, so the best buildings, the best furniture, he said, like basically the most creative, amazing things, the best standing armies, the best families. Okay, right. And he said only three civilizations ever reached that high level of cultural energy for a long time, and they were the Athenians, the um, the Athenians, the Romans, and the English. Right. Okay, and then in the inverse, ready for it? He find a 100% correlation. And what does that mean? He means there wasn't one exception to this rule at 86 civilizations over 5,000 years, and he finds a 100% correlation between societies that codified total sexual freedom and the death of their civilization within 90 to 100 years, right? And it wasn't just cultural changes. Notice he argues in his book that's been, by the way, buried by the liberal academic left. I wonder why, Chris. Have you noticed this about like any kind of science or psychology or philosophy or medicine or studies or data that is ever a threat to the claims of the liberal establishment? They'll just bury it. Right. It doesn't matter if Peter McCullough has all. Of the credentials. Right. It doesn't matter if the studies being done showing that children fare best in every category when raised by their married biological parents in a low-conflict marriage under the same roof. It doesn't matter that that the research is being done by hundreds of people with all the right academic bona fides. If the findings are a threat to liberalism and our modern, sexually obsessed society, then they'll bury it. And it actually becomes hard to find this stuff. And you know J.D. Unwin's not being taught at Cambridge. You know, you know he's not being taught at UC Berkeley or UC San Francisco or Cal State Fullerton or any of the state schools. Why? Because when you read this, you're like, oh my gosh. Wait, I wanted to have my cake and eat it too. But turns out you can't do that. Right. And so he argues that it's not just cultural changes, like, oh, Will and Grace is a popular show and they're celebrating homosexual characters. No, he's saying it's it's it's not just that. It's when you codify total sexual freedom. Meaning legislatively, legally, things change in your society. Your culture is so sexually obsessed that they pass laws encouraging and protecting the exercise of sexual craziness. So, if there's not one exception to the rule, Chris, that once a society codifies total sexual freedom, if they don't do anything to reverse course, then within 90 to 100 years, they're replaced by another civilization with greater social energy. Then maybe we should ask the question together on the line within when did America codify total sexual freedom? Right. I mean, just his JD Enwin's research is kind of like historically ruthless. Right. And no one was really able to escape that. That role. So maybe we should put that framework onto the West, huh? Right. Here's
1973 And The Sexual Revolution Laws
Seth Grubermy argument. I think America codified total sexual freedom in 1973. Right. Right. And I have three reasons for that, possibly four. Right. Roe vs. Wade. That's the biggest one. Right. We legalize baby killing in all 50 states. Through point of birth. People forget that, Chris. People forget that. They they I've actually had pro-lifers and Christians tell me that's a lie, Seth. You shouldn't say that. Um, because there were lots of states passing pro-life laws. So you're lying about that. No, what what Roe vs. Wade and Doe vs. Bolton did, that was the companion case a few months after Roeby Wade, Doe vs. Bolton. What those two cases did in 1973, Chris, is that they said states um could states could ban abortion um after um the baby could survive outside the womb. Right. Right. Not before. Right. Right. But of course that always changes, right? Because with medicinal uh advancements, we've been able to make that baby viable at earlier and earlier stages. Okay. Right. But states were not allowed to ban abortion um before fetal viability unless failure to get a late-term abortion would endanger the mother's life or health. Right, right. And then the courts defined health so broadly, Chris, you could drive a Mac track through it. Right. So health could mean I got in an argument with my boyfriend and he was yelling at me. Right, right. And guess who gets to decide if the mother's definition of health meets the legal framework in order to get a late-term abortion in a somewhat pro-life state? Right. Right. So this was the case under Roe v. Wade. So even when we celebrated states that had passed pro-life laws, which save some some babies, um, a woman just had to use the health loophole to get an abortion at any point in pregnancy in any state in America from 1973 to 2022. Okay. So just so we understand, that happened in 1973. So do you have total sexual freedom if you still have to take responsibility for your sexual choices? Right. Right. No. Right. Right. Right. No, you don't. You would only be totally sexually free, I guess, right? Totally free if you were unencumbered by any responsibilities from your sexual choices. So if JD Unwin's framework is correct, that once a society codifies total sexual freedom, they begin a 90 to 100 year countdown to civilizational replacement. 73 would be a good place to start because that was when we said you can have so much sexual freedom that when babies get created through your sexual freedom act, you can murder them. Right. Right. So that's what happened. Uh what else happened in 1973? The Endangered Species Act was the same year, Chris. The same year we declared open season on the littlest humans. We also gave greater legal protections to sea turtles and porpoises. Right. Fulfilling G.K. Chesterton's prophetic warning, Chris, that wherever there is animal worship, there would be human sacrifice. Right. Right. Right. So we worshiped and cared more about protecting the lives of sea turtles and porpoises in 1973 than the human babies we declared open season. Right. Right. So listen, I I I I read my Bible, Chris. Um, to me, baby killing codified and animal worship, codified to me, sounds like Molech and Bail. Right, right. And what else happened in 73? The Supreme Court removed their obscenity laws the same year that allowed for for the first time the widespread and fully legal distribution of pornography. Right, right. Wait, you're saying like pornea, the Asherappoles, have always been connected to the Baol statues and baby sacrifice? Yes, that's Judges 6. God tells Gideon, through the angel of the Lord, walk out of your cave, go tear down. What does he tell him to tear down in Judges 6? The Ashera poles and the Baal statues, where they were sacrificing babies to an animal-looking figure while having sex cult orgies. Those were the two idols in the camp in Judges 6. Ashtarath, goddess of orgies and sex, Baal, animal-looking god that they sacrificed babies to. Right. Sexual liberation and child sacrifice, those two sins have been linked since time immemorial. Right. All that happens in 73, Chris. Right. Right. It sounds to me like Molech, Baal, and Ashtareth. Which would be the demonic trinity that anytime God's people came into agreement with or toleration of those demons, God, like Pilate, washes his hands of the whole affair and says, I give you over to be ruled by those who hate you. Psalm 106. And by the way, that's in relation to actually sorry, you sacrifice your sons and daughters to demons, the land is desecrated with blood, and so I give you over to be ruled by those who hate you. That's at the end of Psalm 106. Um, hey, Chris, who hates uh the Protestant church? What if the religion hates the Protestant church on a global scale, the likes of which we could not compare to any other religion? Could you help me? Yeah. Muslim. Islam. Yeah. Nailed it. Yeah. Nailed it. You've sacrificed your sons and daughters to demons. The land is desecrated with blood, and so I give you over to be ruled by those who hate you. Those words to God's people in Psalm 106 may be the exact words that we receive through the consequences of our choices in the West and in America right now. If 73 was the beginning of our own Molech Baal Ash Tereph agreement, demonic partnership, abandoning of Yahweh, refusing to honor God legislatively, right in 73, 83, 93, 2003, 2013, 2023, it means we're entering what could be 38 to 50 more years left before civilizational replacement. So when I look at Dearborn, Michigan, when I look at Frisco, Texas, where I'm going to preach at a church in Frisco, Texas, next month in July. Right, right, right, right, right, right. And I see them instituting aspects of Sharia law. Right, right. When I see what Islamist jihadists have done to Paris and to London, where they're changing entire communities that are now exercising Sharia law in parts of Europe without passing any laws to make it okay. They've just converted so many people to Islam that they've set up what with the it's like they're mini uh governments functioning completely autonomously of the actual government. Right. When I look at 250,000 raped white British girls, right, right. 90% of whom were raped and abused by Islam jihadists. Right. Hmm. Right. The mayor of London is an Islam jihadist. The mayor of New York City is an Islam jihadist. Right. What? Right, right. This is the canary in the coal mine, Chris. This is how all of this stuff is all connected. Islam jihad would be God's judgment on soy boy American pastors and Christians who would not wake up and begin to fight against the evil that declares war. Right. Babies, children, sexual innocence, the family, marriage, Western civilization, and the very freedoms that they hide behind. This is not hyperbole. It is not an overstatement to say that we're in a season of the last stant. If we think that we're so special in America, and I think we are pretty special in America, Chris, but if we think we're so special, that we can avoid the test that 86 civilizations has failed. Right. Right. That every civilization who has codified the things that we're codifying has failed. And we think that we'll be the one exception to that. Right. That kind of pompous arrogance will be our undoing.
What The Last Stand Requires
Seth GruberRight.
Chris GraingerWhat so a man that's listening right now, Seth, he's he's heard you go through all these facts and he's probably sitting in or shaking his boots a little bit. And there's we're probably and we have a lot of pastors that listen as well. The last stand you refer to. What is that? Well, what what is your call to action if you had the room full of the men that you want? What what what what are you telling them to do?
Seth GruberYeah, amen. Yeah, there's a few things, okay, but I'll try to keep it like short and simple. Okay. Okay. Um, first, not to be too, you know, pompous. Um, but start remembering. Right. Right. I'm gonna, I am gonna specifically, because I know some people that like I know I know some of your your listeners, they're like, no, I'm ready to storm the gates of hell right now. Uh so don't just tell me to read a book. I I'm don't worry, I'll get to some specific things just now. I know, I know that they're looking for something more specific. But no, really, what what has been the most powerful tool that we've seen at the White Rose Resistance? And I've been in more pulpits on the issue of life on a Sunday, Chris, since 2020 in America than anyone else I know of in the country. And I don't know how that happened. It was the hand of God, he breathed on the ministry. Okay. Um, but I've been in a lot of pulpits around the country. I've been all across America. I've I've seen brave pastors, I've seen cowardly pastors. We've screened my film at over a thousand churches. Um, the number one thing that we've seen get people like, like, let's go, right, is when they begin to remember what they've forgotten. In fact, what probably got some of your men listening to this conversation right now ready to pull their AR-15 out from under the backseat of their uh their Ford or their RAM or ready to like pull over because they're about to punch their fist through the windshield was was why? Because they just heard a bunch of stuff from me that they hadn't heard before. And they were like, oh my gosh, you're right. I never thought about it that way. We can't codify this insanity and expect God to bless us. We we that now that makes sense. I've I felt like like we're about to lose America. And now this crazy homeschooler Chris has on his podcast that what he's saying, that that kind of makes a lot of sense, right? Why? It's because people listening to the line within right now, Chris are going, oh, I never heard that before. Well, well, what that's I'm proving my point. When we begin to remember, remember, remember the kind of historical truths, right? That the the greater men of the West, our our forefathers, that they fully understood, we begin to understand that stuff, we get fired up to act. And and and so the most powerful tool that we've been able to use to get men and women in the church to stop being apathetic and to and to start acting is to say telling stories that we've forgotten, telling the history. So that's that's number one. Um get my book, host a screening of this film at your church, right? If you're a fired up man who doesn't need to be told to do something, you just want to be told what to do, you already know you should be doing something, then get other men awoken, awakened like you are, and and and show this film to your youth group, uh the men's discipleship group that you're in, maybe some young 20-year-old dudes that you're discipling, and get your senior pastor to host a screening of this film by going to the laststand.film, the laststand.film. And any church in America can host a free screening of this for free, this this 250th birthday of America. Secondly, if you live in a blue state or a purple state that still has surgical abortion mills, so most of the red states, not all of them, unfortunately, of course, but most of the red states have passed enough pro-life legislation after the overturning of Roe vs. Wade that the surgical abortion mills were shut down. The surgical abortion mills. Um, um, but if you live in a blue state or a purple state that still has surgical abortion mills where women go, their boyfriend drives them, drops her off. Hey, go kill the baby. Okay. I I I it makes me want to pull my hair out, Chris. Okay. I don't know why elderly Christian men would allow that in their community. If there is an abortion mill in your community where they are murdering babies day in, day out, week in, week out. Secondly, if you if we're a pastor's secondly, if we're going into the church to prep for sermons, secondly. Secondly, secondly, secondly. We say, thank God for the Catholic nuns, huh, Chris? Secondly, thank God that they're out there. Okay, yes, thank God they're out there. Now go join them. What are you talking about?
Athanasius And The Incarnation Witness
Seth GruberDude, one of the stories we tell in the in the book and the film, Chris, a little spoiler, but it'll make people maybe want to screen it at their church, is about a church father named Athanasius. You might have heard about this last night when I was being Athanasius. He's a church father. Um, he wrote um a book called On the Incarnation at 15 years old. Second, 15 years old called On the Incarnation. Uh, it's about the incarnation of our Lord, right? And and what's the incarnation? It's when Jesus became an unborn baby. That's that's literally the incarnation. The incarnation is when your savior became a fetus, right? The the that that one human that none of us want to step up and protect. Well, sorry, that most of us don't want to step up and protect in America. Yeah, your savior entered human history in a uterus, just to remind the church, and that's the incarnation. So Athanasius writes this book at 15 years old. It's a staple, even today. Secondly, classical Christian education 1500 years later. Okay. Yeah. Um, and he was involved in various conflicts uh in the arena of politics, the arts, liturgy. Um, he might single-handedly be credited with preserving the Christian doctrine against the rising waves of heresy in the um fourth century. Secondly, um, he devoted most of his pastoral and academic life to countering the um the heresy of Arianism. Um, he was at the Council of Nicaea where Santa Claus uh bitch slapped Arius in the face. I'm sorry to use that word, but it's like such a cool story. I just had to say that. Um I'm not joking, actually. Saint Nicholas, Santa Claus, the Santa Claus. He walks up to Arius, who said that you know, the the whole thing of like, well, Jesus wasn't really fully divine, slaps him in the face, punches him. Okay. Santa Claus is a uh heretic punching church father. Uh well, Athanasius was there. Okay. And and he helped take a decisive role in writing the Nicene Creed. Secondly. The millions of Christians say on Sunday mornings all across the country every every week. Okay. That's Athanasius, okay? Um secondly uh Athanasius um secondly pastored in Alexandria. Uh secondly, guys, Egypt used to be Christian. Guess what Egypt is today, Chris? Just to beat the same dead horse. Yeah. Muslim Brotherhood. Yeah. Right? Islam jihadist. So Alexandria used to be like the centerplace of Christendom, baby. You know? Ever heard of the Alex the library at Alexandria? Secondly, it is it that's the burning of the library at Alexandria might be the greatest loss in Christendom ever. Secondly, there's are there are so many things we don't know we don't know because of the burning of the library at Alexandria. The amount of Christian wealth of knowledge in books that was there, Chris, that burnt, there's we don't know what we don't know. However, there is such a thing as oral tradition. Secondly. And stories get passed down to Christians, right? Just like, you know, you're probably telling stories to your kids that, like, your great your great grandpa told your grandpa and your grandpa told your dad. Like this is not crazy. Okay. Like, so according to oral tradition, secondly. It's probably written down in a book at the Library of Alexandria. Um, one day after services, Athanasius, uh, in his older years, okay, this was after, you know, Arius, it was after the Council of Nicaea. Um, Athanasius walks his entire congregation out of the church, the church building, because they they they didn't refer to the church like we do today. It wasn't a building, it was a people. And he walks his church outside of Alexandria, outside, on the other side of the Roman city walls, right? Alexandria was part of Rome, secondly, to the infanticide walls, which was these were outside of all Roman cities, Chris. Um, we talked about this earlier in your podcast, right? Probably 50 minutes ago, about how you could just leave it abandoned babies, you just abandon them, no big deal. And sometimes they'd be rescued by Christians, sometimes they'd be rescued by pimps, so it wasn't really a rescue, and that infant began a life of sexual slavery. Well, this is where they were abandoned. They were abandoned on something called infanticide walls. Think of it as the ancient world's local abortion mill. And you could just go leave a baby. If a dad or family didn't want a kid, a newborn, you just go put it on a wall. But they decided to make specific walls because I guess there's too much shame associated with tossing your baby out your window in downtown Alexandria. So go walk away and do it in secret. Why? Because innocent blood cries out from the ground, right? Just like Canon Abel. And so he walks his church outside of the local Planned Parenthood Mill, the infanticide wall. And in front of his congregation, let me just remind your listeners, Chris. This is a pastor. This is not Charlie Kirk. This is not Seth Gruber. This is not Lila Rose. Secondly, right? This is not a pro-life activist. Well, it is, but he's a pastor. He's a shepherd. He preaches, he takes care of his people's souls, and he preaches a message on the incarnation, which is the most powerful pro-life message ever. And it's something he'd been preaching his whole life since he wrote a book on it at 15 years old. Because what's the incarnation? Secondly, the word became flesh, right? John 1, right? The word became flesh. But what's the Greek, Chris, for the word in John 1? The word became flesh. What is it? The logos. Logos! The logos! And this would have meant so much to the um the early Christians who were reading John chapter 1. It would have meant so much to his congregation who were hearing him preach on the incarnation. Why? Because again, it's all in my book. You just have to trust my homeschool history or uh mine for a moment, listeners. The the the concept ancient Romans valued the most. Secondly. Secondly. Logos. Secondly. It was it's how they built their entire society. Logos meaning rationality, speech. Okay. Logos is what separates us from the cow. Secondly. I guess we're all creatures, but we humans have what? Logos. We have a soul, yes, but we have it's it's because we can we have moral accountability, we have speech, we have rationality. So we're held accountable for what we do because of that rationality. That's logos. Okay. So they in ancient Rome, Chris, they did not believe that unborn babies had logos. Secondly, they did not believe that infants had logos, they didn't believe children had logos because children they uh they uh they do this thing called um sinning and complaining. Um and so sometimes their emotions overtake them, which of course never happens to adults, right? Uh and so they didn't think children had logos, they didn't think women had logos, and they didn't think slaves had logos. Well, I'm pretty sure that just leaves one other category the freeborn Roman male. That's the only person they thought had full logos, and they equated logos with personhood and human dignity, Chris. This is super important. They equated logos with personhood and human dignity. So, therefore, because they didn't think slaves, women, children, toddlers, babies, infants, or unborn babies had logos, they thought they weren't full persons and could be treated however the uh adult freeborn Roman male wanted to treat them. Okay. That's all they cared about, Chris. Logos. And then here comes John. And what does he write? Hey guys, hey, ancient Roman world. Secondly, the logos, the capital L logos. I mean, he is the logos. Like, he's not like a logos, he's the logos. Like he has so much logos when he opened his mouth one day, the freaking Milky Way came out. That he has so much logos that one day he just spoke and animals popped out of the ground. Okay, that's a lot of logos. That's a lot of logic and rationality. If you can speak and things pop into existence, Chris. Think about the scandalous nature of the incarnation in John 1, which all theologians agree, is talking about conception, right? No theologian worth his salt thinks that the word became flesh and made his dwelling amongst us. No one thinks that that's referring to childbirth, like when Mary pushed out baby Jesus. Like, no, no. The word became, when did he become flesh? At the moment of conception. That's when he became flesh as an unborn baby. And so, and then of course you got the prenatal John the Baptist doing backflips in the uterus because he recognized the humanity and divinity of his prenatal deity, second member of the Trinity God man in Mary's womb, while both of the cousins are in the same room sipping back on tea, celebrating what God's doing in their individual uteruses. But because God and his life together in the womb, and that is God in the womb, because he is actually the logos, he's the second member of the Trinity, and he he is both God and man in Mary's womb, then that means the prenatal Jesus is knitting the prenatal John the Baptist together in the womb, while the prenatal Jesus is knitting himself together in the womb, while the prenatal Jesus is knitting himself together in the womb of a woman whose uterus he once knit together when he knit together Mary in the womb of Mary's mother. That's the power of the incarnation. That's our savior in a uterus. Athanasius preaches on the incarnation. That moment when our savior became an unborn baby, and he's preaching it in front of the infanticide walls in the local Planned Parenthood Clinic. And after his sermon in front of his people, Chris, he turns around and he starts ripping down the bricks that make up the infanticide wall, brick by brick, with his bare hands. And his congregation, they're watching their senior pastor literally like freaking Gideon, tearing down the high places, like Josiah tearing down the high places. And he turns around with blood-soaked hands and he says, My blood for their blood. Yeah. He died shortly after. One year later, Emperors Valentinian and Theodosius, so inspired by this act of a pastor tearing down the abortion mill that they passed laws for the first time in human history. He died, he died giving legal protection to infants and demanding that parents take care of and not kill children. And for the first time in human history, let me say that again. For the first time in human history, infants, babies, received legal protection because pastors were outside of the local abortion mill. He died. If you live in a state or in a community where there are still operational surgical abortion mills, he died. What are we doing? He died. Why the heck would the men of God in the community allow that to remain open? I'm not asking men to go burn down abortion mills. He died. I'm asking you to stand in front of the gates of hell, to stand in front of the buildings where babies are scheduled to die. There's only one place in America, Chris, where we can say we know every day when and where innocent human beings are scheduled to die. It's on the calendar. He died by and large. He died Christian church. He died Christian men don't do anything about it. He died large. He died 100 years of church history. He died as Christian men doing something about it. He died Amen. So we've forgotten our heritage. We've forgotten who we are. So what should men do?
Practical Next Steps For Men
Seth GruberDon't look at porn. He died. And if you still are, you need to put your mother or your mother-in-law on the Covenant Eyes accountability browsing report that gets sent out showing which websites you visit. Do whatever you need to to cut off the hand. You cannot tear down the high places when you've erected high places in your own living room. He died. He died. He died. He died. Catechise your children to raise little dragon slayers and inculcate them against secularism and paganism. He died and take them with you outside of abortion mills. Right. Make them read C.S. Lewis and G.K. Chesterton and Francis Schaefer and Abraham Kuper. So they understand these ideas. And let them see their father standing against evil. He died. He died. He died. Actually, read books that help you understand how the hell we got to this point in the West in 2026. And we do a book club at White Rose Resistance for anyone that's interested. For people who support us at $70 a month at the Whiterose.life at our website, we do a book club and we read books together and we talk about them with me live on Zoom every other month. We've read books like The Toxic War on Masculinity. We've read books like Love Thy Body. We've read books like The God of Sex by Peter Jones. And so they knew what Israel ought to do. And so how can you know what the people of God ought to do if you don't understand the times you're living in? So read books that help you understand our cultural moment. And then don't wait for me or someone else that you feel, oh, well, they have the mantle to go fight evil. Don't wait for those people to go fight evil. I'm not asking you, young man listening to this show, who just got married and you have your second kid on the way. I'm not asking you to leave your job and go join the pro-life movement full time. I'm saying everyone has a role to play. We all have a place on the wall. And we need to stop making peace with evil. And we need to learn to find our testicular fortitude, reattach our balls, and learn how to fight evil again. Because historically, when the church hasn't, all of society goes to hell in a handbasket. And guess who have all have always been the first victims of cultural and societal evils when the church unilaterally disarms? Women and children. They're always the first victims of paganism and secular progression bad time. So that's it. That's my soapbox on your line within, Chris. People can go to the laststand.film, the laststand.film for free. You can host a screening of this at your church pastor, to your Christian school, your homeschool co-op, and the book goes way deeper.
