I can juggle and eat an apple. Yeah, I can juggle and eat an apple. I haven't done it in years. Uh my dexterity is not what it used to be, but I bet you I can still do it. Because if there's food, if there's food involved, man, I'm in. I'm in 100% right there.

Man, I saw I saw a video the other day of this dude juggling with the Rubik's Cubes, and he was solving, it was three Rubik's Cubes, and he was as he was juggling them, he was solving them. But he he's it was like four minutes and something, he solved three Rubik's cubes while juggling.

No, that's not me. I I can literally, I think when I was a kid, because I was on my bike, I remember I would, I was, I was a latch key kid, so I had a lot of free time. And so I would ride down the road on my bike, like you know, when you're just without handlebars, you're just kind of driving, and I would juggle on my bike, just the stupid stuff you do as a kid. But yeah, it's funny you're bringing back memories, man. That's it, brother. That's it. That's awesome.

Well, man, I'd love to know. Like, how'd you come to know the Lord? Tell us a little bit about your faith journey.

SPEAKER_00 5:41

Man, thank you for share. I listen, Jesus changed my life. That's the first thing. And and I love it because when I was a kid, I grew up in a home. Um, we believed in God, and we believed that, man, there was a God that that was up there somewhere. He was really old, he had a baseball bat, and he probably would just keep me in line just by beating me up. So I need to shut up and stay in line. And he was always on a cross, he was always sitting there on the cross. I'd go in and he's sitting there. So I always feel guilty. But then one day, my father came home from work, and there was this guy, and I'll say his name forever. His name's Al Tolison. And this guy told my father about Jesus at work. And I think that's the biggest thing I want to start with is any of you guys out there listening, if you're at work, I need you to know that a guy at my father's job changed my entire life. Don't be afraid to share

Meet Bill And Known Legacy

the gospel because everyone said that guy was crazy. And then one day my dad comes home. It was March of '93. Um, in fact, I've got the kitchen table where I got saved at, right outside in my uh in my little breakfast nook. And my father's like, you gotta understand that God loves you. And he he and at that point it was pray this prayer and understand that God, that Jesus died for you. And I was like, makes perfect sense. Great. My family has fallen apart. My my mother and my father had gone through a really, really nasty divorce. So I was hopeless already. Um, and in that moment, man, my father came home and I could see it on his face. Something changed about him. And man, I prayed that prayer and and it didn't get easier, but I knew I was redeemed. Right. And so that's how it started.

That's how things started. Wow. So I mean, when did when did they get divorced? How old? How old were you? So they got divorced.

SPEAKER_00 7:20

I was about 12 to 13. So it was in 92. Okay. Remember, they sat me and my brother down and they were like, hey, we're gonna get divorced. And I just felt like the world fell in. Like it wasn't our it wasn't sunshine and roses at our house. You know, we like I said, we we didn't know the Lord, so it was already a rough home. Yeah. But I mean, when when that changed, everything changed for me. And I remember just falling into like a like a depression. Man, I'm a Gen Xer, and you don't you don't get depressed, you you grab your bootstraps, you keep going, you know, whatever, that kind of thing. But I mean, we were in this moment of the world had fallen apart, and I was really figuring out what was going on with this whole situation with family and me and God. And so um, yeah, it was it was a bad, bad situation. So when he came home and did that, that was the first time I saw joy on his face in over a year. And I was like, something changed. And so then we started getting involved in church and and uh man, the rest, well, the rest isn't history, the rest is a whole nother story. But uh, but yeah, that's that's where things change for us.

Because I guess at some point, I mean, you took it, you you shot the call in your life for ministry, so tell us a little bit about that.

SPEAKER_00 8:27

Yeah, so to jump into that, so I got saved at 13, but then um changing the angle, being a latchkey kid and coming from a home of a of still brokenness, um, I pretty much ran to alcohol and pornography. By the time I was 14, that was rule in my life. And I and at first I was like, Did I really come to know the Lord? And then I realized, well, the enemy was like, I can't take your soul anymore, but I can steal your testimony. And that's really what happened. Is um is I I had a buddy whose father had the video store with the proverbial, you know, curtain behind it. You could walk back there or get what you wanted. And uh, and I was my father had some beer in the house, and that was just a bad combination for me. I was alone. My brother could drive and he could leave, and so I was in the house by myself. Um, and through that, I began to feel more and more worthless and and started to try and get it under control on my own because I wasn't being discipled. I didn't have anybody walking with me to say this is what you should and shouldn't do, and not just I knew it was wrong, but I had no one showing me what the abundant life could look like. It wasn't until I was 18 when I went back to the because we we had jumped around some churches, you know, when when all this started, because we were both baby Christians.

So you were living with your dad, right? It's a screen.

SPEAKER_00 9:42

Living with living with my dad, yeah, sorry, living with my father. Um and we were going to church, but it was uh I didn't feel like I was getting grounded, and we were kind of jumping in different places. Eventually, when I turned 18, I I went back to that church where he had, but where his friend who shared the gospel with him went went to church. But it was like 45 minutes away. And when you first start as a believer, you're like, well, Christian's Christian, it's all it's all the same, you know, kind of thing. And and so we just I didn't get in a place that was challenging me and showing me who I should should become. And then it wasn't, I guess, until I was 18, I went back to that church. And at that point, man, um I got connected with a guy who really showed me who I could become. And in that is when I really felt the call to ministry. In that is when I understood that God had something else for my life than just existing. Um, and that was the start of everything. And so then in I graduated high school in '97, and that's really when I jumped over to this church right after that. Um, and then from there went and kind of wandered around for about a year, but really felt that call. Like, but then you're like, no, God couldn't use me. Like, why would God use me? And then I went to a uh, you know, like like a retreat camp uh for for just a weekend. I was actually gonna be an actor out in California,

Salvation In The Middle Of Divorce

yeah. And um, and I was I was gonna leave this this semester, the, you know, this it was like a it was like a March, I was gonna leave in June and go there. And I went to this camp for a weekend, and man, I felt called to ministry. I was like, I'm supposed to do this. Yeah. It was a very clear call. It wasn't an emotional call, it was like a wrestle of like, I need to do this. Um, and then from there, when I came home, I was telling my dad, I think I'm I'm called to go to ministry. And and he said, Oh, it's so, and I had had an aunt in in California who uh I was gonna live with. And he said, Well, hey, while you while you're telling me this, I gotta tell you, Saturday, your aunt called me. She got married, you're not gonna be able to live with her anymore. Because I was like, Am I supposed to go there? God shut that door immediately. In in the course of the same weekend, he closed the door for California and I was like, okay, I'm going to Bible college. So there started my journey of Bible college and eventually got my degree in biblical studies and uh and went back to that first church to become a youth pastor. And that's kind of where things started. Uh yeah, and began my my call to ministry there. Right, right.

And uh, how long did you did you work did you stay in the church, if you will? I know you we're gonna get to known legacy. I'm just curious how what was your team? Yeah, no, no, you're good. What did that look like?

SPEAKER_00 12:11

Yeah, so I was at that church for about eight years, full-time, part-time, kind of driving back and forth from college, took over the youth ministry from the guy who actually discipled me uh and really journeyed with me, you know, and I was talking about this somewhere else. If, you know, the way that he discipled me was like, hey, go grab those chairs, let's set them up. Hey, let's let's vacuum this floor, you know, let's fix this car. And he just did it along the way. And so I didn't have a discipleship training of we're gonna come to this group, we're gonna learn this study. He just along the way showed me what it was to be a man of God. And he's actually the product of a one-night stance. And he's a godly man with over, I think, eight grandbabies right now. Um, so needless to say, he was an example to me of what I could become, and he just showed me life. So I took over his youth ministry and became the youth pastor. He moved into another role and then um did that for about till about 2005. In 2005, I moved to Midland, Texas, which is where we just wanted to serve out of our heart, not out of our wallet. Eventually went back on staff at a church in Midland, Texas, and was there till about 2016. And then 2016 went on staff at a church in Allen, Texas. Um, and then from there uh did that until 2024, which is when I jumped full-time into known legacy. Right. So I jumped, that's the gunshot right there. So that's kind of what we did.

But and you started known legacy while you were still at the church though, right? You kind of got it to get it off the ground. So when what's what was like the call from God to to create this known legacy ministry? Like what did that look like? I'm super curious on this one.

SPEAKER_00 13:49

Yeah, yeah, yeah. So so that's a great question, too, because when I was in the church in Midland, Texas, I did children's ministry for a while, and I would watch these parents come in and we would speak life to these kids and we're like, man, God has great plans for you. And almost the minute that we'd hand the kids over, like, hey, here's your we could almost see the wounding happen instantly. Like parents just neglecting their kids. And I'm not talking about like physical abuse, but just disregarding their kids, like the things that a lot of parents do, just don't realize that all their actions matter to their child. And it would frustrate me. And then kind of how God worked it, I moved from kids to pastoral care and counseling and started doing more counseling, mentoring, kind of one-on-one kind of stuff. And uh, and I actually had some of those parents literally sitting in my office. And I remember going, wow, like this is why you were wounding your kids. Um, and I realized that someone has to break the chain from parent to child. And instead of just trying to fix one, why don't we fix both? And so that kind of became the start of known legacy of helping people find mentor couples to journey through these kind of problems. And eventually God just whittled that down. I mean, we would do marriage conferences, parenting conferences, we would do um, you know, speaking engagements, things like that. But it really started to rifle into this idea for men. I kept seeing that men were the crucial part that needed to be taken care of because women have a lot of studies and things like that, but so many men are just wallflowers. Right. They're just hiding behind their wife. And and I I don't mean that in like a negative way, they're just they're not connected, they they're not excited about what God's doing. But the ones who are, it's changing everybody after them. So I'm like, how do we get those guys to come alive? And that's really where the passion of known legacy came in to go, we got to do something with these men and help them come alive to who God called them to.

Right, right. Wow, that's that's incredible. So I mean it's starting to sound like it started with this wonderful idea. Go go take us back to year one, the the hurdles of getting things going, like those early days. What did that look like?

SPEAKER_00 16:01

I remember being in my buddy's office, and I'm like, I think I'm crazy that I want to start this. Do you know what I'm talking about? Oh, I know what you're talking about. And like the enemy was full on, throwing everything at me. Like, you're a failure, man, you're never gonna get it together. What do you have to offer these people? And I kept looking at me, and God was using that to refine, obviously. But that was an uphill battle. Now, the best thing I did was me and my wife were on the same page. It's amazing how quick, and maybe you you can agree with this, how quick our wives hear the Spirit of God before we do. I mean, I I I when I and then when we're of one flesh walking together, that's when it really got solidified. In fact, my wife and me, we were praying through this because the first year we didn't have a name for known legacy. We'd started in 2015 with this idea, and it wasn't a nonprofit at time, it was just we're gonna do this. And uh, I remember we were walking around um I forget someplace in New Mexico, and um, and she's like, What about the name Known Legacy? And I go, That's in that's awesome. Like, that's it. Like, that's it. And so, so we kind of started to form this idea of what known legacy was there, and then we just stumbled forward. A lot of it to me feels like when Peter got out of the boat and started walking on water, and I think we talked about this when you were on our podcast too, but this idea of Jesus didn't necessarily in the very beginning, Jesus didn't say, Come out of the boat. And I I even preached that wrong many times because I say, Well, Jesus called him out of the boat. He did, he did, but there was this tension. Here is Pete, here is Jesus walking on the water, and I mean, I don't know if he's 20, 30 yards away, but he's standing out there, and there's 12 guys in the boat, and Peter all of a sudden says, I want to be where you are. And then Jesus says, Come on out. And I think I had to wrestle with the idea that I wanted God to roll out the red carpet. Okay, God, I have this idea, roll it out. He's like, not gonna happen. And I think just the same thing as Peter, the minute that Peter stepped onto water, nothing made sense. I don't know how it could, nothing made sense. So here he is walking on water, and nothing biologically, socially, nothing made sense. And and that's kind of what it felt like the first couple years in known legacy. Like, we're trying this, oh, that didn't work. I'm gonna try this. Okay, God, I I know you called me to this, but I don't know

Porn, Alcohol, And Real Discipleship

what works. But but we just keep on going. I read this thing about um groups of animals. I don't know if you've heard so like so like a group of butterflies is called a kaleidoscope.

You know, a group of crows is called a murder of crows.

Uh my favorite one is um a group of vultures pecking at me. It's called a committee.

SPEAKER_01 18:56

So I don't know if you know that, but that sounds about right.

SPEAKER_00 18:59

Exactly. Take that point as but my favorite one is a group of rhinos is called a crash. And um and a rhino can only they can run 35 miles an hour and they can only see a hundred feet in front of them, which means they've got less than three seconds to stop if there's a cliff. They have less than three seconds to react and move. And you're going, which shows me that they are less afraid of what's in front of them than what then then that fear should be present about who about who they are. And so those first couple years, I felt like we were just a rhino. God, this is the direction you're going to. If it's not you, stop me. And that felt like our journey. We're gonna go this direction. If if there's a wall, cool, we'll just we'll turn right and we'll go here. Right. But that's what it felt like. And I feel like that's where it stayed, quite honestly. Like, okay, we're gonna do this. And God, if it's not you, um, I've learned a lot through that, but that's the kind of thing is like I want to be just like a crasher rhinos and my brothers and go, we're going this direction. And God, until you tell me to stop, I'm gonna keep going. And that's kind of how we did it. That's kind of how we started it.

At some point, though, you know, it sounds like you got a little more tactical, you got a little, maybe God gave you a little more clarity. So where is it, where's it at now? Where do you where do you see, you know, how how is it serving people in a really meaningful way these days?

Yeah. So yeah, again, as you said, like there's a the moment you're like, okay, where are we going? We know our target is disenchanted men in the church. It's guys who and it's specifically men in the church, because man, there's amazing ministries preaching the gospel. Amazing. But what I kept finding was men who were existing in this role inside a church that were just maybe serving, struggling with sin, not really coming alive. In fact, when I was a kid, my son loved the movie Cars. I don't know if you've ever heard if you ever watched the movie Cars. I got four kids, of course.

Yeah.

You understand. And God spoke to me through that. Man, I remember where I was sitting there watching it, and and here was Lightning McQueen and and Maters here, Maters sitting around there, no, and then And then in comes Doc, and Doc goes, Mater, what did I tell you to do? And he goes, To not to. And I'm like, and I'm like, that is every man in the church right now who is just trying to not sin. It's like, if I learn more, if I sin less, I'll spin off into some spiritual nirvana and I'll be some perfect Christian. And I'm like, that is a bold-faced lie. And that's all we've given men. And I kept seeing it over and over again in our church. And I was like, how do we help men understand that? That it's so much more. And so in that, we also realized that men are tangible. So we want to give them tangible goals. And so what we did was, man, I'll I'll spend a lot of time sharing at different churches, kind of connecting with people, connecting with churches, because we still believe that the local body, man, that's that's the that's the body of Christ. That's what he's committed to. As messed up, as broken as the American church is, he has put this in place for people to connect to come alive, but we're just not doing it. So so we we offer, so a couple years ago, I wrote a book called More Than You. Nice. And uh we offer we offer a 10-session book study for free to churches. That's one thing we do. So we do a lot of events, we do a lot of of different things to to connect them to basically crack the shell of these guys to go, man, what if God has more for you? Like then there's three filters. God's word's true. If God's word's true, who is God? If God's word's true, who are we? What is he saying about us according to this truth? And then we ask guys, are you based on this truth, are you becoming who you're designed to become? Is this it it if you know that if you believe this in the truth, are you doing everything you should for the glory of God, not just for you, but for everyone who comes after you? And so we challenge them with that. We do uh we do weekly, we have a weekly call-in Bible study that is at 645 on Thursday mornings. Anyone out there wants to join, I'd love to have them. And it's and I know you have a bunch of stuff on yours that you're staying connected with them, but we have this because we have guys all over the country who are driving to work who've got nobody. There is a pandemic of loneliness with these men. And man, if a guy's on the phone, no one sees him. He could be ironing his ironing his clothes and his boxers. No one sees him. But we we're giving them some truth, we're giving them some some kind of community every week to say we see you, you're valuable, you add value to the world. Don't stop believing that. Um, and we do a lot of those, so we have a lot of tangible things we do. Plus, we have an ongoing podcast that we build a community with as well. Uh, and and our own stuff at known legacy.org through different events, monthly events that we do, uh, and things like that that we we offer to these guys because we just know that if a man is alone and isolated, he won't change. But

Why Known Legacy Had To Start

if he has a brotherhood, if he has an armor bearer who says, I'm with you, it'll change the world.

That's right.

What about the guys that are just just right now, man? They're just out there and they're completely passive when it comes to their faith. You know, they've outsourced that to, you know, a youth pastor to lead their kids, or senior pastor to lead their wife, or whatever it may be, like just that spiritual passivity. You know, what where do you think that's coming from? And how do you guys going about combating that head on?

SPEAKER_00 26:08

Funny. I had a guy tell me, he said, Bill, I've been in the church for over 40 years, and no one's ever challenged me to dream. And uh somewhere along the line, we have replaced um man, this boldness for the sake of the gospel. We've re we've replaced honesty and authenticity for knowledge and passivity. Um, but but what I'm finding is the minute that we crack that shell, these guys want to come alive. And so that's and I know you do the same thing with yours. Obviously, I've I I've watched watched your stuff, man. It's solid. And I'm like, the more guys have this conversation, you're doing where you are in North Carolina, right? Yeah, so you're there, I'm here in Texas. Man, we're gonna infect the world. That's all we're gonna do. And I but I think it starts a guy at a time. So this is I think this is how it changes. Um the story of Jonathan, Jonathan in 1 Samuel, I think it's 14, where Jonathan is sitting there, and his dad has his this group of 600 men, and there's the Philistines, like 6,000 Philistines, and there's only two swords in the entire in the entire army. Jonathan has one, and and and Saul has one, and Saul's not moving. He's passive, he's scared. So there's all these scared men, 6,000 men up there. Jonathan leans over to his arm bearer and says, Hey man, I got an idea. Let's go and let's go take these guys on, just you and me. He's like, Okay, let's go for it. So they climb up this rocky hill, kill 20 guys. All of a sudden, an earthquake happens. The Philistines wake up, they start stabbing each other. Saul and his men hear all the all this commotion, they gain courage from that, and they they charge and they and they defeat the Philistines. I mean, an earthquake happened, like an unnatural, like what the war, like all this stuff, amazing victory. And I think about it, man, and it's and I look at that story, and it all was because of one person that all that happened, and it wasn't Jonathan, it was his armor bearer. It was his armor bearer who said, I'm with you, bro. Because what if, what if his brother said, that's a you do you think we should talk to Saul first? I'm a little nervous, but he's like, I'm with you, bro. That's what the world needs. Guys, if you're out there and you feel like there is a tugging on your heart to call other men out, that is from the Lord. Like God wants you to call other men to come alive. Guys, there is going to be a moment that that we are gonna be sitting or laying down and the machine is gonna be beeping the last heartbeats that we get. What do you picture in that moment? Do not say, I wish I would have. Say, I'm glad I did. And guys, bring yourself to that moment even now and go, God, you what do I want at the end of my life for this? Do I want to be around my bride? Do I want to be surrounded by my babies who are who have babies of their own? And they're singing praises to the Lord because I'm about to hear well done. Guys, that's what we want for you. I know that's why this why this podcast exists. I know that's why we exist because we need other men to see the value of walking into a church and starting to unplug men from the pay from this matrix of falsity and say, and that starts by going, guys, hey man, I want to take out the coffee. I want to hear your story. Because the lie that we've told ourselves is I don't know enough. And that's garbage. Have you been redeemed by Jesus? You've been redeemed by Jesus, you know enough. You love your spouse. Do you have bad days and good days? Share the share them both. We on our podcast, you you talked about the value of authenticity that when you open up to men, they're like, that's all we need is more is more warriors. But we think warriors are slaying dragons. You know, I saw this meme and it was funny. I said, you know, when my it was the wife saying, when my husband said he'd do anything for me, he didn't mean take out their trash. He meant he meant killing dragons and slaying down knights. I'm like, yeah, and he said, and then some someone posted and said, Well, you haven't seen any dragons, have you, Barbara? You know what I'm saying? Like, it's that's right. It's like, but but that isn't our heart. But this is the dragons, guys. There is one dragon, and he's a false idol. He's a he is a false antichrist who wants to try and destroy, steal, kill, and destroy. And that's the dragon we get to slay when we invite someone out to coffee. That's the dragon we get to slay and we say, Come over to my house. I want to hear your story. I want to share my story. That is how we do it, guys. There's an unseen battle that is existing around us that that we get to say, I see this battle and I'm gonna fight it. I'm gonna fight it, and that's how we fight it. That's that's why I believe we break that passivity.

And that's incredible that you had guys had that many youth at your event. We just had our retreat as well. We just we're just coming off of it. I'm just a few, I'm still not completely recovered from it. But anyway. I don't blame you. We had a ton of youth too, man. I mean, uh 18 and under. And those kids, they're just hungry, bro. I mean, they're just hungry for it. And they were this, I mean, and and a lot of the kids that came to ours were from a youth ranch. So they had some pretty troubled, um, you know, not the traditional type guys who just, you know, mom, dad at home, things like that. No, these guys had some really tough things, but man, they were leaning in so hard. This and I and just just really just looking for authenticity. And once we actually started talking about the real struggles and not surface level crap, like we actually talked about, man, we had guys talking about their struggle with pornography or their struggles with what hey, my wife just cheated on me. And a 16-year-old is sitting there around the campfire hearing a guy talk about that, that changes things, man. It changes things.

Guys, we have this opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus and show them what the abundant life could look like. But I don't think we I don't think we believe that we we have enough in us. And when I was a kid, or you know when you know when I was younger in this, I would read it, you know, being from upstate New York, a lot of you know, I live right off the Mohawk River, Erie Canal, like I mean, I would hunt and fish and all that kind of stuff. And I remember I would picture when I would hear workmanship, an Indian like digging out a wooden canoe, just working on me. And man, I went back to the to the Greek with that, and the word is poema, which means symphony or masterpiece.

And so this was part of his plan to redeem you. It is never too late if there was breath in your lungs. And man, forgiveness, this idea of, and I know there's a lot of forgiveness stuff. How do I let go? How do I forgive my dad for causing me to realize this at 42 or whatever? Like the guys who struggle with, man, I've been hurt by my father, but I just realized salvation here. I don't I don't understand why we feel like that. Like like the like there's a time limit. Moses, first 40 years of his life, did nothing. We wasted it. The next 40 years of his life, hid. God used him in his 80s. Do you know that actually your most impactful years of life, if you get there, are 70 to 80. It's the most impactful influential years of your life. 60 to 70 is the next the next set of years, and then 50 to 60. And we look at our lives and go, I've screwed this up. No, you haven't. God has got the right timing for you to make an impact to change the world. Those are the times. You look up those statistics, you don't have to take my word for it. But if we see that from this point on, God can redeem and restore and change, imagine what he could do if you shared that story with others. And began to let it so it's not too late. It's not too late. Paul literally murdered people as part of his religion and his belief. Paul was the Osama bin Laden of his day, and he was not a young pup when he came to know the Lord. And you know what? God somehow managed to write most of the New Testament through him. So stop believing lies. I love the Avenger movies, all that kind of stuff. I love those things. And um, I I I read that Stan Lee didn't write his first Spider-Man comic till he was 40. Guys, time uh what uh Colonel Sanders, I think he was 60 when he did Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Why do we believe that those are extraordinary and they're not just ordinary? Like, guys, I truly believe that that Peter walking on water was supposed to be normal. You know what's sad about that? We could have had a whole group of 12 out there with Jesus walking on water, but but it takes you believing that God has something great in your life to make a change to say, God, I'm gonna believe the truth. I'm gonna believe that truth and what it says about you and what it says about me, and I'm gonna start to live that now. And that's how I make the change. This is my filter. God's word is true. God is stupid, crazy in love with me. God calls me more than a conqueror. Like we are William Wallace on steroids. This is who we are, guys. And if we believe in that and say, okay, I'm gonna start to have these lies creep in, but no, the truth is God's word, end of story. I'm gonna walk in that and see what God does with that from this point on. That's what I would say to us, guys.

So, first thing, before anything else, guys, there are 31 Proverbs. 31 Proverbs. Pretty cool. So if it if today is the 15th, go to Proverbs 15. And this I'm gonna ask you get in the word and say, God, reveal one thing to me today. One thing, that's it. One thing. Every day, the first thing you do before you get on your phone, before you check any emails, is you get yourself in the word. Well, you can use the bathroom first, but you get yourself in the word right after that. That's the first thing you do. Start your day with truth before the enemy starts attacking your lies. That's the first thing you do. And then all you do, guys, on your phone, take down your notes and write one truth about God from what you learned that day. It's that simple.

Like it cleans your lens. Um, and if getting in that truth is so crucial. Above everything else, come to know Jesus, get in the truth, spend time with other godly men. And but we make it such a scholastic exercise. But guys, that's all it is. Getting in that's the first thing I would say. Second thing, obviously, like get connected to you.
